Fuelling Fandom: Vilnius symposium with Euroleague Basketball
Introducing the UNRVLD digital framework for creating superfans for brands with special guest, Euroleague Basketball.
To celebrate UNRVLD client, Euroleague, hosting its tournament finals in Lithuania this year; we brought the Fandom programme to our European HQ in Vilnius. We demonstrated how we work together with Euroleague to grow, retain and commercialise their fanbase by delivering unforgettable digital experiences year-round. This event empowered attending brands to apply sports industry know-how to their respective industries with a view to growing superfans for their brands.
After a welcoming keynote from Goda Sniokaite, UNRVLD Regional Director, Tom Dougherty gave an insightful presentation on 'turning customers into superfans'. He explained how we work with our clients to define strategies and tactics to turn fans into customers and customers into fans. With examples from our award-winning work with Euroleague Basketball, Crystal Palace FC, New Era Cap, LIV Golf and others.
This was followed by a fireside chat with Evan Planchon, Digital Manager (Product and Data) Euroleague Basketball, to discuss our collaboration, and to explore future innovations and opportunities on the digital roadmap. The afternoon came to a close with a panel discussion between special guest digital experts on the topic, including:
